Shelby was inspired to enter veterinary medicine after her Chihuahua helped her through a serious medical condition as a teenager. That experience sparked a passion for helping others through the human–animal bond. She has a special interest in internal medicine and dentistry and enjoys building lasting relationships with her patients. At home, Shelby’s pack includes two dogs, a cat, a leopard gecko, and a tortoise. Outside of work, she loves camping, hiking, kayaking, and gardening—and once dreamed of becoming a photographer!
